I have an HP HPE-150t workstation. The SD drive worked prior to upgrading to Windows 10. However, after upgrading to Windows 10 it is no longer functioning correctly. The SD cards (I have tried several) work fine in another computer. However, now when I plug an SD card into the slot, the light comes on indicating it is plugged in properly (when I remove the card the light goes out). But, the removable drive does not show up under Devices and Drives. Under Computer Management/Disk Manager the disk is shown as removable but is marked as No Media.

Under Device Manager/Disk Drives it is shown as: Generic - SD/MMC USB Device. It says 'This device is working properly.' Under Driver it says: Driver Provider: Microsoft, Driver Date: 6/21/2006, Driver Verision: 10.0.10240.16384 I have tried to update the driver and it says it is the latest driver. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the device and it still does not work.
I have gone to the HP support site and it says that there are no new updates available. But it does note that there may be new drivers for Windows 10. HP apparently no longer supports this older (2010) system (they only tested systems newer than 2013)

I have tried to find out who manufactured the USB memory card controller but have not determined who made it so I cannot see if a newer driver is available from them.
